The Deccan Odyssey have 48 suites in total, 11 cars with 4 presidential suites. The train has an air-conditioned suite car (coach), 11 air-conditioned cabin cars, a conference car, two restaurant cars with bar attached, and a health car with a gym, beauty salon and yoga centre. There is also space for ayurvedic treatment and massage.

The two restaurants cum kitchen cars that serves varied local authentic and Continental cuisine. A unique feature about the conference coach is the conference room is designed in such a way that it could also be converted into a disco-cum-pub for evening entertainment. What's more, it has provision for Net surfing, mobile phone connectivity and colour television in all the cabins. The idea is to keep travelers close to their families and friends. Further, during off-season, the train can be hired by corporates to take their employees on a holiday, or even organize meetings on board.

Facilities and services aboard this luxury train include two tastefully designed lounge and a conference coach that will be able to accommodate 50 passengers, allowing them to mix business with pleasure. Passengers will also be able to enjoy on demand - Foreign Exchange facility on board.
